Ma il tema di Proust e quello di Benjamin sono davvero lo stesso? Le loro ricerche del tempo perduto perseguono il medesimo obiettivo? Proust cerca il passato per sfuggire al tempo, e ciò significa soprattutto: al futuro, ai suoi pericoli, alle sue minacce, la cui minaccia estrema è la morte. Glad someone recommended this to me. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Would probably read it again at some point.
