Overview: La France des années 2000, comme de nombreux pays, a vu se confirmer un modèle de contrôle censé protéger la population contre la prolifération, en son sein, de « nouvelles menaces » : islamisme, terrorisme, immigration clandestine, incivilités, violences urbaines... Et pour justifier cet arsenal sécuritaire, un principe s'est imposé : désigner l'« ennemi intérieur ». Cette notion évoque la guerre froide, quand cet ennemi était le communisme.
