Nie jest to tylko układanka wierszy czy próz poetyckich, urodzonych w rozmaitych „obcych” językach, z innych doświadczeń egzystencjalnych i cywilizacyjnych. Prezentuję zbiór światów, uzbieranych w ciągu wielu lat, wielu poetyckich podróży; te światy żyją tu i teraz, ożywione dzięki mojemu przylgnięciu do nich, a następnie zaproszeniu ich do polszczyzny. Dzielę się więc rezultatem przedziwnej fascynacji czy zaintrygowania, zwieńczonego ostatecznie wyborem ‒ tekstów, doborem – słów, w niekończącym się pościgu za sensem i brzmieniem tamtych, oryginalnych, który sprawił, że ewidentnie cudze wiersze przeobraziły się w moje, zachowując jednak to coś do końca kulturowo nieoswojonego, co stanowi o ich atrakcyjności. W ciągu przeszło półwiecza utwory te pojawiały się na różnych łamach gościnnych, najczęściej „Literatury na świecie”, ale także „Odry”, „Twórczości”, i od lat już – otwartego na wartościową poezję, także „obcą” – „Kwartalnika Artystycznego”. Dla prezentowanej antologii wybrałam formę ronda: zaczyna się ona od przypomnienia prekortezjańskich „Hymnów” króla-poety Netzahualcoyotla i kończy prezentacją wierszy poetów, tworzących w rdzennych językach latynoskich narodów, których rozpoznawalna, zanurzona w mitologicznym odczuwaniu świata, w ścisłej więzi z przyrodą poezja upomina się o prawo do obecności i oddziaływania na wrażliwość współczesnego czytelnika. A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Good, but not quite perfect. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.
