Overview: Liebe Leserin, lieber Leserenige historische Institutionen haben einen ähnlich finsteren Ruf wie die Inquisition – als eine Art Geheimpolizei des Vatikan, die im Namen des wahren Christentums Andersgläubige verfolgte, Geständnisse aus ihnen herausfolterte und sie zu Zehntausenden verbrannte. Glad someone recommended this to me. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. A solid 5/5 for me.

Not bad, but not my favorite. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.
