Overview: Sachar Committee's report for the minorities has inspired two retired IPS officers to make a 'Majority Report'-which documents unprecedented discrimination being practiced against the poorest sections of Hindu society on the basis of the Sachar report. Mr. R.K. Ohri and Mr J.P. Sharma have come out with the most well researched rejoinder to the Sachar Committee Report till now. With Dr. Subramainan Swamy releasing the book, it was now clear that the political class was ready to take a stand against the Sachar report-by no longer letting the report remaining unchallenged for its veracity. Mr. Narendra Modi also came out strongly in Bhiwani against the attempt to implement Sachar recommendations to the defence forces. Writing the introduction to book, Gen S.K. Sinha says: "Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made an astounding statement on December 9, 2006, proclaiming that the Muslims will have first claim to India's resources. Would it not have been more becoming of the Prime Minister to say that all poor and deprived irrespective of caste and creed, will have the first claim to India's resources? The authors of this book have argued that in doing so Dr Manmohan Singh has violated the oath of office he took while assuming the august office of Prime Minister." This oath reads: "I will do right to all manner of people in accordance with the Constitution and the law, without fear or favour, affection and ill-will." Ohri and Sharma have challenged the very basis of the statistical claims of Justice Rajinder Sachar by demolishing his thesis scientifically--piece by piece with counter claims and evidence. "In four out of the five globally recognized major human development indices, the Hindus happen to be the most disadvantaged religious group in India?", says Ohri.

I liked it for the most part. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. Not bad at all.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Still a good book.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. A solid 5/5 for me.

A very satisfying read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.
