Discover A Practical Summary & Workbook for Using Jordan Peterson's Maps of Meaning to Sort Yourself Out by Annette Poizner. Start reading today and explore ideas, insights, and experiences that stay with you.

Overview: Less Chaos, More Order! Finding Jordan Peterson's "Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief" difficult to follow? Curious to learn more about the man and his ideas? This summary reviews some of the core insights that characterize Peterson's worldview. Love him or hate him, you might as well get to the crux of what he is saying! With a seasoned psychotherapist as your guide, access Peterson's premises about the nature of reality and how we best live within it. Summaries, summaries of the summaries and reflection points to journal help you digest teachings so you can apply them to your day-to-day life. The second part of this book introduces Alfred Adler's technique for decoding the 'map of meaning' by analyzing a person's 10 earliest memories, further demonstrating how that map manifests in the lives of individuals. This hands-on workbook helps you access vintage Peterson, here presented in a linear style - minus mythology or brain science - so you can zero in on the life advice that has helped many achieve dramatic personal change. Annette Poizner, MSW, Ed.D., is a Toronto-based counselor who has a deep interest in work that is predicated on old wisdom. Her work has garnered extensive media attention. Bringing techniques that are mainstream in parts of Europe and Israel, her assessment methods have been featured in dailies across Canada, in trade magazines across North America and in her blog on the Huffington Post. She is the author of "Clinical Graphology: An Interpretive Manual for Mental Health Practitioners," and a range of other publications.

Good, but not quite perfect. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Good, but not quite perfect. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Not bad at all.
