Overview: Cecilio ("Chío") Zubillaga Perera (1-2-19887/25-7-1948), historiador, educador, periodista y agudo polemista, gran admirador cultural en su nativa Carora y miembro Correspodiente de la Academia Nacional de la Historia en el Estado Lara, recibió de manos de Antonio María Zubillaga el Archivo cuyos índices se publican en este libro, que conservó, aumentó y organizó en 1931. Luego lo confió a Pedro Adrián Zubillaga y, por disposición testamentaria, designó una Junta (20-8-1942) para su conservación y fomento. A los extractos que componen este índice, Cecilio Zubillaga añadió valiosos comentarios intercalados que aluden a los hechos señalados en los documentos. I was pleasantly surprised. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Pretty good overall. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Such a great read. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Worth the time and money.
