Marzio Barbagli è nato a Montevarchi (AR) nel 1938. Si è laureato a Firenze ed insegna attualmente Sociologia presso l'Università di Bologna. È autore (con M. Dei) del volume «Le vestali della classe media» (il Mulino, 1969) ed ha curato una raccolta di saggi dal titolo «Scuola, potere e ideologia» (il Mulino. 1972).

Really enjoyed this one. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

I was pleasantly surprised. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Would probably read it again at some point.
