Askaj was discovered by traders who initially thought it was just a planet full of fat chicks. for this reason, most people avoided it, but it was later rediscovered by a lonely smuggler looking for a slumpbuster that the people there were not Human. The Empire took over the planet, and many of its residents fled to Tatooine, or other desert planets. Yarna d'al'Gargan came from Askaj. Australia began as a prison colony of London. London was tired of criminals sullying its good name, so it loaded a bunch of them on a ship and just aimed it at the Outer Rim. It landed on a non-inahbital planet, but the prisoners were so tough and determined, they lived there anyway. Since that worked out, London kept sending prisoners there, who were set free upon their arrival, but were unable to leave the planet. Over the centuries, these criminals and their descendents formed an actual society that was similar to London's, but less fancy and gay. Good question. Bespin was a gas giant in the Outer Rim. Finished it in a couple of days. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Will be looking for more from this author.

Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

It was just alright. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
