Ing Yudiro pada tahun 1984. Setelah itu pada tahun 1990, oleh Ir. Bambang Mursodo dikembangkan lagi modifikasinya. Beton kraton yg sudah di rangkai Kembali ke masalah , produk beton komposit kraton ini merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam membuat beton pelat lantai (ngedak) dengan memakai material beton kraton “Keraton” karena dari sisi ekonomis lebih murah dan dari sisi kekuatan tidak kalah dengan sistem dak konvensional. Keramik komposit secara fisik seperti balok bata akan tetapi memiliki lubang pada bagian tengahnya, beton keraton merupakan pelat berusuk. Lubang-lubang tersebut sudah dihitung sedemikian rupa dan melewati proses beberapa pengujian sehingga bahan ini dijamin kuat untuk dijadikan beton pelat lantai, sebagai solusi ngedak murah. Rongga-rongga dan lubang pada beton keraton secara struktural akan mengurangi beban pelat lantai jika dibandingkan dengan pelat beton masif. Untuk pemasangan pelat secara satu arah / one way slab, teknik ini bisa menghemat pemakaian besi beton hingga 70% sehingga sistem ini dirasa sangat effisien, praktis dan ekonomis. Teknologi keramiknya sendiri terdiri dari blok terpisah seperti gambar , selanjutnya blok-blok keramik dirakit dan disisipi tulangan yang berfungsi sebagai tulangan tarik untuk menjadi seperti balok seperti gambar. , maka tulangan tersebut juga berfungsi sebagai pengikat dengan semen (mortar/sejenisnya) yang berfungsi seperti lem. Pada tahap ini, agar dapat menjadi balok yang baik, yang dapat diangkat dengan aman untuk dipasang di lantai atas adalah sangat tergantung dari teknologinya. Perlu presisi yang cukup baik, karena kalau tidak itu balok menjadi tidak lurus (saling bergeser), bagian keramik berfungsi sebagai kopel desak, sedangkan tulangan sebagai tulangan tarik. Tulangan dipasang pada ke empat sudut, agar mampu menerima lentur pada semua arah. , itu semua diarahkan untuk menerima berat sendiri, dan juga berat bebandi atasnya.Selanjutnya tujuan dari balok di atas adalah dikembangkan sebagai lantai komposit, yaitu dengan dijajarkan dan diatasnya dicor dengan hanya mortar/cor biasa pun bisa. bagian atas keramik, bagian yang dicor, cukup tipis, kurang dari 3 cm. Jadi pengecorannya bisa beton atau mortar. Jika demikian maka yang dapat diandalkan adalah beton di pinggir-pinggir keramik tersebut, fungsinya seperti balok rib. Secara prinsip itu semua memang dapat bekerja sebagai elemen balok struktur. Bahkan pihak produsennya telah mengujinya. Bata Keraton atau Ceiling Brick merupakan material inovatif untuk pekerjaan pelat dak lantai. Secara sederhana Bata Keraton adalah material komposit keramik dengan beton. Keraton ini terbuat dari bahan dasar tanah liat (keramik) yang dicetak dengan cetakan khusus sehingga berbentuk menyerupai kubus dengan rongga-rongga dibagian tengahnya. Keraton mempunyai rongga menyerupai huruf “V”. Dalam keadaan terpasang, rongga ini seakan-akan menumpu beban yang ada diatasnya. Untuk membuat pelat, bata keraton ini dirangkai dengan campuran semen pasir (beton) dan direkatkan dengan beton.
