Overview: The Gods Of Time, penned by 21-year old author Aarthy Sundaram was published in May 2016 by The Writers Workshop in Kolkata, that has been publishing Indian Creative in English since 1958. Unlike many re-tellings of Indian Epics, this book experiments in its narrative style, by spinning out from the popular poem of Mahabharat, settling itself in a new domain and putting the path to doing the right thing to a very different trial. A very unique narrative, leads us from the eighteenth day of the Great War and weaves out a compelling story-line of the consequences of the last day that threatens the very fabric of time.

Such a great read. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Would probably read it again at some point.

Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Will be looking for more from this author.
