Został decyzją ministra Adama Bodnara uznany za jedną 31 osób, wobec których Pegazusa użyto bezprawnie. Szwejgierta i Pińskiego inwigilowano wieloma innymi zaawansowanymi programami szpiegowskimi takim jak np. Hermes. Koszty tej inwigilacji trwającej w latach 2017-2023 wyniosły kilkanaście, a być może kilkadziesiąt milionów złotych!Pracując nad tą książką trafiliśmy na szokującą historię. Przynajmniej od maja 2019 r. przeciwko Szwejgiertowi działała reprezentująca go radca prawna. Dość powiedzieć, że składała zeznania go obciążające przed drugim zatrzymaniem, a potem występowała jako jego obrońca.Ta książka to opis przestępstw funkcjonariusz CBA, którzy zamiast zwalczać grupy przestępcze zaczęli je tworzyć. Szwejgiert znalazł się na celowników pisowskich szefów CBA, bo wpadł na trop afer, z których czerpali miliony złotych.Ironią losu inwigilacja autorów nie skończyła się wraz z upadkiem reżimu PiS. W służbach cały czas są ludzie, dla których zniszczenie Szwejgierta i Pińskiego jest warunkiem pozostania na wolnościKsiążkę tę autorzy dedykują Wiewiórkom, bezimiennym funkcjonariuszom i oficerom służb, którzy narażając zdrowie i życie pomagali nam walczyć z przestępcami.
