Overview: A strange new teacher is introduced to class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The teacher is a round-headed, tentacled alien capable of moving at speeds of up to Mach 20 and whose color changes depending on his mood. Prior to introducing himself to his new class, he managed to carve out a large chunk of the moon to become a permanent crescent moon. In a year, he plots to destroy the earth, but decides to teach a junior high school class in the meantime for reasons unknown. Really enjoyed this one. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. A solid 5/5 for me.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Pretty good overall. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Enjoyable weekend read.

Pretty good overall. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Still a good book.
