Overview: ABC Picture book. Patience Mason finds Litter Critters hiding in the woodlands wherever she goes. The Critters, made from acorns to pine cones to thistledown come to life on their way to watch the sunset at the shady river in their Woodland home. The critters have carefully crafted expressions and personalities. As they gather to watch the sunset, young readers are introduced to both upper and lower case letters. At the end of the book, the entire alphabet can be read backwards from Z. The last page shows how a few critters are made. The Litter Critters were made by Patience Mason, photographed in action by Robert Mason. 8.5"x11," 32 pages, hardbound. Patience Press.

Good, but not quite perfect. It held my attention, even if a few things were a little predictable. Still a good book.

Such a great read. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Would probably read it again at some point.

Good, but not quite perfect. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. A solid 4 stars from me.
