Overview: V dubnu 2021 se ve vinohradském studiu poprvé sešli dva staří známí: předseda Kolegia Paměti národa Jan Dobrovský a novinář Jindřich Šídlo. Jejich společný podcast neměl zpočátku větší ambice než překlenout covidové období do chvíle, než se Paměť národa bude moci vrátit ke svým pravidelným besedám a přednáškám po celé zemi.Ohlas posluchačů ale překvapil. Od dubna 2021 vzniklo již více než 70 epizod, v nichž autoři na základě zkušeností z moderní politické historie popisují a hodnotí aktuální dění. Podcast Dobrovský&Šídlo byl dvakrát nominován na Křišťálovou lupu, v roce 2022 se umístil v kategorii podcastů na třetím místě. V rámci své permanentní tour vyprodali autoři sály po celé zemi a stali se i vyhledávanými hosty prestižních hudebních festivalů (Metronom, Slunovrat, Krásný ztráty).Kniha "Můžu to doříct", jejíž název je odvozen z nejčastější věty, kterou si pánové Dobrovský a Šídlo vyměňují před natáčením i během něj , nabízí upravený přepis třinácti epizod první sezony podcastu. Od "operace Vrbětice", přes sněmovní volby v říjnu 2021 až po ruský útok na Ukrajinu v únoru 2022. Texty doplňují dobové fotografie a na závěr každé kapitoly se čtenář také dozví, "jak to všechno nakonec dopadlo". Tedy nakolik se předpovědi a hodnocení autorů nakonec protnuly s pozdější realitou a jaký byl další osud hlavních i vedlejších postav našich rozmluv.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Glad I picked this up.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.

Pretty good overall. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. A solid 4 stars from me.
