Der Gruppe gelangen seit Mitte der 1990er mehrfach Platzierungen in den Top 10 der deutschen Charts, seit Viva los Tioz (1998) erreichte fast jedes Album nach Erscheinen Platz 1, obwohl sie wahrend ihrer Karriere durch die Medien kaum beachtet oder aufgrund ihrer umstrittenen Vergangenheit ignoriert wurde. Inspiriert durch Bands wie die Sex Pistols oder die Ramones grundeten der damals 17-jahrige Stephan Weidner, Kevin Richard Russell (16) und Peter Pe" Schorowsky (16) im November 1980 in Hosbach (Unterfranken) eine Punkrockband. Den Bandnamen gaben ihnen laut Angaben der Bandbiografie einige Nachbarskinder, als diese ihre jungeren Geschwister mit den Worten: ...Vorsicht, da sind die bosen Onkels!..." davor warnten, dass sie ihnen den Schlitten wegnehmen. Vorher nannten sie sich nach eigenen Angaben auf dem Tour 2000-Film...

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
