Overview: Buku ini berisikan fatwa-fatwa MUI yang ditetapkan sejak MUI berdiri tahun 1975 hingga sekarang. Buku ini disusun untuk menjadi pedoman bagi umat Islam dalam mengetahui perjalanan penafsiran dan keputusan hukum agama Islam yang berkaitan dengan akidah, sosial budaya, serta kehidupan seharisehari di Indonesia.Kehadiran buku Himpunan Fatwa MUI ini diharapkan dapat menjadi oase di tengah padang pasir. Diharapkan kehadiran buku ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi terbentuknya masyarakat yang mutadayyin dan mutamaddin.Hasil fatwa yang terhimpun dalam buku ini dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok; pertama, fatwa yang ditetapkan dalam sidang Komisi Fatwa; kedua, fatwa yang ditetapkan dalam Musyawarah Nasional MUI, dan ketiga, fatwa yang ditetapkan dalam Ijtima’ Ulama Komisi Fatwa se-Indonesia. Hasil-hasil fatwa tersebut disusun dan dikelompokkan secara tematik, kecuali hasil Ijtima’ Ulama yang disajikan utuh di bagian tersendiri khusus tentang hasil-hasil Ijtima’ Ulama.Himpunan fatwa ini disusun secara tematik dan dikelompokkan menjadi empat kelompok tema; pertama, tema tentang akidah dan aliran keagamaan; kedua, tema tentang masalah ibadah, ketiga, tema tentang masalah sosial budaya, serta keempat, tema tentang POM (Pangan, Obat-obatan, dan Kosmetika) dan Iptek (Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi).

A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Will be looking for more from this author.
