Overview: The lonely predicament of Carol Kennicott, caught between her desires for social reform and individual happiness, reflects the position in which America's turn-of-the-century, "emancipated woman" found herself. Glad someone recommended this to me. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. A solid 5/5 for me.

Finished it in a couple of days. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Worth the time and money.
